Annihilation (2018) The Sci-Fi film about a group of scientists exploring a mysterious and dangerous zone called "The Shimmer" is a thrilling and scary watch. The direction from Alex Garland (blog) is masterful, as are the sound and visual design are (blog post) both top-quality. The performance (blog post) of the female cast, particularly Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson All of them are excellent.
